Following 40 years of service in education, Dr. Jeffrey Kitching announced his retirement as Executive Director of EdAdvance this June.
“The opportunity to serve the school districts in this region alongside the talented EdAdvance staff has provided me with some of the most meaningful and rewarding work of my career. Together, our incredible team built a culture that embraced change and moved the agency forward in many positive ways,” shared Kitching.
Dr. Kitching plans to stay connected to public education in the state teaching Educational Leadership to aspiring education administrators as an Assistant Professor at Central Connecticut State University.
EdAdvance’s Board of Directors has begun the process of appointing a new Executive Director to lead the agency beginning July 1, 2024.
