Congratulations to Dr. Elizabeth Radday on Being Honored by the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education

We’re proud to celebrate Dr. Elizabeth Radday, Director of Research and Innovation, who was recently recognized during Penn GSE Alumni Weekend 2026 at University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.


Dr. Radday participated in the featured panel discussion, “AI in Education: What Parents, Teachers, and Schools Need to Know,” where she shared insights on the evolving role of AI in K–12 education. She was also honored with the prestigious Ethel and Allen “Buddy” Carruth Sustained Leadership in Education Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education leadership and innovation.


Dr. Radday leads innovative work focused on helping schools and educators navigate the evolving landscape of teaching and learning. Through her role, she supports districts across Connecticut with initiatives centered on AI in education, instructional innovation, professional learning, and student-centered practices that prepare learners for the future. Drawing on her 16 years of classroom experience in mathematics and special education, as well as her experience as a Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching recipient studying education systems and student choice in Finland, Dr. Radday brings both deep expertise and practical insight to the work she leads every day.


Dr. Radday is also widely recognized as co-host of EdAdvance's ChatEDU podcast and for her national and international presentations on AI and Personal Interest Projects in education. In 2025, she published her first book, Learning They'll Love, further advancing conversations around meaningful and innovative learning experiences.
