Litchfield, CT – October 30, 2026 – EdAdvance is proud to announce that Dr. Elizabeth Radday, Director of Research & Innovation, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Achievement in ESA Writing & Research Award by the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA). This national recognition honors Dr. Radday’s contributions to educational research, professional learning, and innovative practices that support educators, school districts, and students.

The award recognizes individuals whose writing and research advance the work of educational service agencies and strengthen their ability to address the evolving needs of schools and communities.

Throughout her work at EdAdvance, Dr. Radday has played a key role in connecting educational research with practical strategies that help school districts navigate emerging challenges and opportunities. Her leadership in artificial intelligence (AI) education has supported educators across Connecticut as they explore the responsible and effective integration of new technologies into teaching and learning.

Dr. Radday designed and co-led EdAdvance’s AI in Education microcredential program, which has reached more than 700 teachers. Her work has also helped guide more than 100 Connecticut school districts in developing approaches to artificial intelligence, expanding opportunities for professional learning and instructional innovation.

In addition to her leadership at EdAdvance, Dr. Radday is an accomplished author and researcher. Her publications include the 2025 ASCD book Learning They’ll Love, along with articles featured in Educational Leadership, Phi Delta Kappan, The Learning Professional, and other respected educational publications. Her research and writing explore topics including artificial intelligence, student curiosity, instructional innovation, bias, and equity in education.

“Elizabeth’s work demonstrates the powerful role educational service agencies can play in moving research into practice,” said Joan Wade, Ed.D., Executive Director of AESA. “Her scholarship is helping educators navigate significant changes in education while showing how ESAs can expand capacity, innovation and opportunity across districts.”

This recognition reflects EdAdvance’s ongoing commitment to advancing educational excellence through research, collaboration, and innovative professional learning opportunities. Dr. Radday’s contributions continue to strengthen the agency’s ability to support school districts and educators throughout Connecticut and beyond.

Dr. Radday will be formally recognized at the 2026 AESA Annual Conference & Expo, taking place December 2–4 in Orlando, Florida.
